ANY INFORMATION ON THE SITE (INCLUDING TOUR DETAILS, DESCRIPTIONS, REVIEWS, OR USER CONTENT) WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, OR CURRENT;
THE QUALITY OF ANY TOURS, PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR INFORMATION PURCHASED OR OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT TRAVEL INVOLVES INHERENT RISKS (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WEATHER CONDITIONS, TRAFFIC, OPERATIONAL CHANGES, HEALTH RISKS, DELAYS, CANCELLATIONS, AND THIRD-PARTY ACTS OR OMISSIONS). WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME OR EXPERIENCE FROM ANY TOUR OR TRAVEL SERVICE.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (INCLUDING PAYMENT PROCESSORS, TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS, ATTRACTION OPERATORS, AND OTHER SUPPLIERS) MAY BE USED IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR BOOKING. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTS, ERRORS, OMISSIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, BREACHES, OR NEGLIGENCE OF ANY THIRD PARTY, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM SUCH THIRD PARTIES.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH CASES, OUR WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
If you or any member of your party chooses to cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify us in writing. Your cancellation will only be considered effective once we have received and confirmed your written notice in writing. Please note that Korea Travel Compass’s cancellation and refund policies vary by product. It is your responsibility to review and understand the specific cancellation and refund terms applicable to your booking. We will process cancellations and refunds in accordance with the applicable policy for each product.
Korea Travel Compass reserves the right to enforce its code of conduct concerning prohibited content, products, and services. Any suspected violation may be investigated, and appropriate action may be taken at our sole discretion.
You represent and warrant that you will not use any Korea Travel Compass content, products, or services in a manner that infringes upon the privacy, data protection, or other legal rights of any third party, or that violates applicable privacy or data protection laws and regulations. Where required by law, you further warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents to access, use, collect, or monitor communications or personal data, including location data, through the Site or Services.
Any illegal or unauthorized use of the Site or Services is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms. Without limitation, you agree not to engage in any activity that:
(a) Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law
(b) Harasses, threatens, stalks, abuses, defames, or otherwise harms any individual or organization
(c) Collects, stores, uses, compiles, downloads, or distributes personal data or usage data of others without proper consent or authorization
(d) Impersonates any person or entity, misrepresents affiliation, or creates a false identity
(e) Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights
(f) Contains abusive, hateful, obscene, pornographic, indecent, defamatory, or privacy-invading material
(g) Promotes or incites violence, criminal conduct, or violations of law or third-party rights
(h) Promotes discrimination, harassment, or harm based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
(i) Engages in unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, spam, bulk messaging, or other commercial solicitations
(j) Transmits chain letters, petitions, pyramid schemes, or similar content
(k) Violates the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others
(l) Spreads false, misleading, or deceptive information or engages in fraudulent activity
(m) Distributes promotional or commercial material using the Company’s name without prior written consent
(n) Encourages or participates in unlawful activities
(o) Uses, copies, or modifies the Company’s content for commercial purposes without authorization
(p) Publishes biased or misleading statements for the benefit of third parties
(q) Solicits personal information from other users without their consent
At our request, you agree to protect and not hold us, our employees, third parties, or others responsible for any claims, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) that arise from your use or misuse of the Site or services, or from your violation of this Agreement.
We also have the right, at our own expense, to take over the defense and handling of any issue covered by your indemnification. In such cases, you agree to fully cooperate with us in defending against these claims.
We encourage users to contact Korea Travel Compass first to attempt to resolve any dispute informally and in good faith.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation, the dispute shall be resolved through one of the following methods, as determined by Korea Travel Compass, unless otherwise required by applicable law:
14-1. Optional Arbitration or Mediation
At our discretion, disputes may instead be submitted to mediation or binding arbitration in the Republic of Korea, conducted in accordance with applicable Korean laws and the rules of a recognized arbitration or mediation institution. The language of the proceedings shall be Korean, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
14-2. Court Proceedings
Disputes may be resolved through litigation in the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
These Terms of Use and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
